The wonderful Andrew Bird has announced that he is moving the release date of his new album "Noble Beast" from January 27 to January 20. (The early bird always gets the worm right?)
Pitchfork reports that:
"The first pressings of Noble Beast will include a bonus disc of new instrumental pieces titled Useless Creatures. Wilco's Glenn Kotche and bassist Todd Sickafoose pitch in on the instrumentals. This two-disc set will also feature different artwork by Diana Sudyka, more photos, a poster, and an illustrated lyric book. Bird missed the boat by not calling this package Noble Beast: Early Bird Edition." The standard edition will also be available on double vinyl, complete with a poster, gatefold packaging, and a download card."
The earlier the better. I am starting to really get into Andrew Bird after giving his albums some more spins. I don't know what took me so long!!!
